NIGHT PORTER
Night Porter
We are looking for someone to join our small, friendly team - the Berwick Lodge ‘family’. Berwick Lodge is an independent luxury hotel with 18 acres of gardens on the outskirts of Bristol, 10 minutes from Clifton.
Main responsibilities:
- ·Being first point of contact to overnight guests
- Assisting with cleaning of public areas and restaurant.
- Helping to relay restaurant and re stock bar ready for next the day
- Restock fireplaces
- Checking the room floors .
- Checking the garden for empty glasses and making sure the front of the hotel is presentable.
What we are looking for
- Someone who works well as a part of a team but also works well alone.
- Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
- Own transport is desirable due to rural location
- There may be some heavy lifting involved, when re-stocking fridges
- We are looking for someone with good customer service skills
Hours: 16 hours to include weekends. With potential for more hours.
11pm - 7am shift
Salary: £11 per hour + equal share service charge (approx. £200 a month) + holidays + 2 nights a year complimentary stays including dinner for 2
