Hidden gem Berwick Lodge is a small, privately owned 5* hotel, set in 18 acres of stunning woodland and gardens, on the outskirts of Bristol. Being surprisingly close to the M4/M5 motorway links makes it easily accessible from London, the South West, the Midlands and Wales.

Like the idea of an outdoor proposal? Take a wander under the beautiful arches of our wisteria lined walkway to the privacy of Aphrodite’s Dome – our magnificent gazebo, named after the Goddess of Love. This private spot within the wild flower meadow will be lit with candles and softened with blankets, for you to get down on one knee and ask the all-important question.
Hiding in the shadows will be our professional photographer, ready to capture the unforgettable moment on camera.

All good celebrations start with chilled Champagne! Clink to the future whilst enjoying the peace and tranquillity of the gardens or snuggling up in a cosy corner by the fire in the lounge. Our experienced Sommelier is on hand to advise on wine pairings to complement your meal, to make it extra special.

With our all-inclusive proposal package, you can book in the knowledge that everything is covered, leaving you to enjoy your special moment. It includes the following:
T&Cs: Available to book 3 months before the date of proposal. Subject to availability. Other guests will be in the hotel, this is not an exclusive use package. Additional night dinner, bed and breakfast available at £370.
