  • Can we get married at Berwick Lodge?

    Yes, the Mews is licensed for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships for up to 100 guests. Registrar fees are not included and couples should arrange this and their own registrar directly with South Gloucestershire Council on 01454 863140.

  • How many guests can Berwick Lodge hold for a Wedding Reception?

    Our beautiful restaurant Hattusa holds up to 100 guests for a sit down reception and 150 for an evening party with entertainment.

  • Can we have a marquee Wedding Reception at Berwick Lodge?

    Yes, if you hire Berwick Lodge on an exclusive basis for the weekend, we can arrange a marquee reception for you, through our trusted and reliable supplier, for up to 200 guests.

  • How long is Berwick Lodge ours if we hire the venue exclusively?

    Exclusive use is available from midday on the day of your wedding, with accommodation guaranteed from 3pm, with hire finishing at 11am the following day.

  • How many bedrooms are there at Berwick Lodge?

    There are 12 bedrooms in the main hotel and 2 additional bedrooms in the Mews, totalling accommodation for 27 guests. Four extra beds are available for children at an additional cost of £30 per bed including breakfast.

  • When can we view Berwick Lodge as a possible venue for our wedding?

    Viewings can be arranged throughout the week, early evenings and weekends. We recommend allowing an hour to see the venue and to have a chat with our Wedding Coordinator. You can book your viewing here or call on 0117 450 7605 to arrange.

  • I've never organised a wedding before! Can Berwick Lodge help us with the organisation?

    Don’t worry, our Wedding Coordinator Georgia is here every step of the way to help and guide you, including on the day. We’ve got a fantastic relationship with some of the best wedding suppliers in the area so if you want any recommendations, just ask.

  • What time is Berwick Lodge licensed until?

    Our bar and music license is until midnight, however a late licence until 1am can be arranged at an additional cost.

  • How much is the deposit for our wedding?

    If you’d like to confirm your provisional Wedding booking with us, we require a £1,500 deposit along with a signed contract to secure your date, which is based on your minimum requirements for the day. We ask that the signed contract and deposit is returned within 7 days of receipt.

    • 50% of the total cost is required 6 months prior to your wedding.
    • Final payment is due in full, 1 month before the wedding itself.
