How many guests can you accommodate?
We can host up to 104 guests for a ceremony and seated meal. For relaxed meals and evening celebrations, we can welcome up to 150 guests. Our seasonal outdoor stretch tent can increase capacity up to 200 guests.
Is Berwick Lodge an exclusive-use venue?
Yes — we specialise in exclusive-use weddings. You’ll have full access to the venue, rooms, gardens, and grounds.
Does Berwick Lodge offer smaller, intimate weddings and elopements?
Absolutely! If you’re looking for something more low-key and personal, we offer intimate, non-exclusive micro weddings and elopement packages. With flexible spaces and thoughtful planning, we’ll help you create a beautifully relaxed celebration that’s just right for you.
Are you licensed for civil ceremonies?
Yes — our indoor and outdoor spaces are licensed for legal marriages.
Can we get married outdoors?
Yes — we offer licensed outdoor ceremony spaces, weather permitting.
Do you offer accommodation?
Yes — we have 14 boutique bedrooms available for you and your guests. There are also several other hotels within a 10 minute drive of Berwick Lodge.
Can we bring our own suppliers or decorations?
We offer flexibility. You’re welcome to bring your own suppliers, or we can recommend trusted partners.
Can I bring my dog to my wedding?
Absolutely! We know pets are part of the family! For exclusive use weddings, your dog is welcome throughout, and we also have one dog-friendly bedroom available for overnight stays. For non-exclusive weddings, your dog is more than welcome to join you for the ceremony and in our outdoor areas, though we kindly ask that they don’t enter indoor shared spaces out of respect for other guests.
Is Berwick Lodge accessible?
Berwick Lodge is genuinely welcoming and aims to make every guest feel respected, valued, and included. As for wheelchair & mobility access, the ground and main floors (excluding the upper Mews floor) are fully wheelchair-accessible, supported by ramped entry from the garden and level access throughout public areas including the restaurant, lounge, and accessible toilets. A lift serves the first and second floor bedrooms. You can read more about accessibility here.
