Events at Berwick Lodge take place within the main hotel, adjacent Mews building and the 18 acres of peaceful grounds.

SPACES TO GATHER & HIRE

HATTUSA RESTAURANT

A wonderfully bright restaurant, with sparkling chandeliers and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the grounds.

The restaurant can be hired as a whole or can split into smaller fully private spaces. Suitable for all types of events - with relaxed, grazing or formal dining.

LOUNGE

A beautiful wood-panelled room with large, sumptuous sofa seating, a feature open fireplace and views of the main gardens. Suitable for relaxed dining.

SUMMERHOUSE

Our Victorian Summerhouse (dated around 1890), is located within the grounds. The perfect romantic spot for formal dining and a sweetheart table for two.

MESOPOTAMIA

In our separate Mews building. A beautiful ground-floor level-access room with plenty of natural light. The space has its own bar, direct access to a garden area and views of the countryside beyond. Suitable for relaxed and grazing dining and ideal for privacy, parties and conferences.

SUMMERIA

In our separate Mews building. Situated on the first floor, accessed via stairs only. Featuring a beautiful stain glass door and worked into the eves on the building. This space offers the ultimate cosy feel. Ideal for intimate groupds, relaxed or grazing dining and events such as workshops and private meetings.

STRETCH TENT

Between May - September each year a stretch tent is positioned within our beautiful grounds. Suitable for relaxed or grazing style dining such as buffets, BBQ's and afternoon teas. Perfect for those 'summer' days when the English weather may not be on our side.

ANATOLIA HORSEBOX BAR

Between May - September ‘Anatolia’ the Berwick horsebox bar will be available to hire. Anatolia will add a unique aesthetic, as well as a fun and interactive element to your celebration! It’s permanent position is next to the BBQ area and drinks reception lawn.

GARDENS

Berwick hosts acres of natural beauty and spectacular features. The glistening fountain, orchard, tree swing and views across to Wales offer a backdrop for beautiful photographs. While the outdoor space hosts plenty of seating to relax in the surrounding beauty or the perfect spot for outdoor games and team building activities.
