When Laura from The White Collection bridal boutique in Clevedon got in touch with the idea of us working together for a bloggers’ event, she didn’t have to wait long for the answer – yes please! Ever wondered what happens at a media event? Here’s what happened here this August.
It started off as a gloomy Monday morning in the Berwick grounds, but as the day progressed the sun slowly peeped through just in time for the arrival of our 9 beautiful bloggers. The ladies were greeted with Berwick Signature cocktails and taken to comfy sofas in the lounge, that was beautifully decorated by Pop Cloud, with a flower wall. Before long you couldn’t hear for the chatting, laughter and snapping of photo-taking to post on their Instagram stories.
The ladies explored the beautiful grounds of Berwick lodge and were amazed with the engaging features. A big hit was our sign that displayed “Wave to your friends in Wales”. The ladies absolutely loved it!
The Magic Mirror Company were here with their ‘Magic’ Mirror. The ladies were able to play around with props and take as many full-length images as they liked. A fantastically fun feature!
Just as afternoon tea was about to be served, the sun finally came out, so we served it outside.
The ladies took their seats and more photos (of course!) and tucked in to their sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and gooey jam, chocolate macarons, buttermilk pannacotta, summer berry tartlet and pistachio bakewell tart.
When the afternoon tea came to an end, the ladies were shown their rooms with much excitement and anticipation
. Each room had been elegantly decorated by Pop Cloud, with pretty balloons. They were amazed by the unique suites with their huge beds, individual design features and magnificent bathrooms.
In the evening the ladies were treated to an evening on-board a yacht in Portishead Marina, ate delicious food treats and were entertained by a jaw-droppingly spectacular magician!
After a fantastic night’s sleep at Berwick, the second day started with a delicious breakfast before cars picked them up and took them to The White Collection bridal boutique in Clevedon where they spent a proper girlie day trying on stunning wedding dresses.
I don’t know about you but it sounds to me like a pretty fun way to spend 48 hours!
