The 18 acres of flawless grounds that surround Berwick Lodge, provide the stunning backdrop to our beautiful home. And we invite you to explore and enjoy it while you stay with us. The romantic walks, and breathtaking flowers all bear the green-fingerprints of our highly-skilled Gardens Team.
Housekeeping
The Housekeeping Team provides the kind of “Elves and the Shoemaker” service that keeps the pillows plumped, the windows sparkling and every inch of Berwick Lodge spotless. It’s down to their dedication, but it still feels a little bit, like magic.
Weddings
Our highly meticulous Weddings Team are the people you want crossing the T’s and dotting the I’s on your special day. Skilled in planning unforgettable events, and self-confessed romantics at heart, nothing gets in their way to deliver your big day.
Kitchen
The award-winning food served daily at lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, is prepared in-house by our exceptional Kitchen Team. Delivering a best of British menu from premium, locally sourced ingredients, here, flavour and fine dining go hand-in-hand.

OUR HISTORY
Berwick Lodge was built in 1890 by a highly decorated Navy General and his wife. It was presented to their only daughter as a wedding gift, where she and her husband could live and grow in the beautiful Bristol countryside. Since then, the impressive manor house has served as a family home, a school for children, a hospital, and as a working environment to help adults with learning differences.
Today, Berwick Lodge is independently owned and cared for by Sarah and Fevzi Arikan. The couple have devoted their time and passion to restoring and regenerating the property and its extensive grounds, retaining many of the original Victorian features, while adding a little something extra…
